AN EXPLANATION FOR THE ‘MAGIC’ OF ASPIRIN

Aspirin has been one of the most popular pharmaceutical drugs of the past one hundred years. It is a synthetic derivative of the natural substance salicylic acid. It was first isolated from the bark of willow trees (Salix) from which it got its name. The healing properties of the willow bark have been known for millennia.

The list of aspirin’s benefits is long. We know that it takes away headaches and other pains. It reduces inflammation. It can address allergic reactions. Many studies show that it is good for your heart. Recently, a Harvard study showed that taking aspirin was associated with decreased mortality in women with breast cancer.

Aspirin has many beneficial effects. Why? According to Professor Dr. Gerald Pollack there are two possible explanations. One is that aspirin is a ‘magical’ drug that—unlike most other drugs--has many different mechanisms of action for all these different conditions. Alternatively, aspirin may have one mechanism of action that has an effect throughout the body.

Pollack hypothesized that aspirin builds structured EZ water. EZ water would impact cells throughout the body and in such a way would have a beneficial effect on your heart while also taking away your headache, etc.

Pollack: “When we tested this hypothesis at our lab at Washington University, we confirmed that aspirin indeed builds EZ water.”

The experiment involved adding a little aspirin to a solution with EZ water. The aspirin increased the EZ water by a factor two to three.
