The Case for a Universal Basic Income
The introduction of a universal basic income protects nature, reduces pollution, helps to reverse global warming and leads to more balance and justice in society. From the fifteenth century—at the end of the Middle Ages, when time stood still to a large extent—Europe began an acceleration of economic, social and technological development which led to the industrial revolution and eventually culminated in the world we live in today.
